Terms of Service
Last updated July 2026.
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Ketl service, operated by Ketl, Inc., a Delaware, United States corporation. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
The service
Ketl is an AI on-call copilot. When you connect telemetry or paste an alert, the diagnostic engine reads your logs, traces, recent deployments, and past incidents, then returns a ranked list of probable root causes, verbatim evidence, and a proposed fix or rollback.
Ketl proposes. You decide. Every diagnosis is a best-effort analysis of the data you provide. It is not a guarantee that the identified cause is correct, that the proposed fix is safe to apply, or that applying it will resolve the incident. You are responsible for reviewing all output before acting on your production systems. Ketl is an assistant, not an authority.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@getketl.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
One person or entity may not maintain more than one free-tier account. Accounts are not transferable.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to process data you do not have the right to access or share.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or extract model weights or proprietary algorithms underlying the service.
- Automate access in a way that places unreasonable load on the service infrastructure.
- Use the service to build a competing product that replicates its core diagnostic function.
- Upload, transmit, or process content that is illegal, harmful, or in violation of third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.
Plans, billing, and renewals
Ketl is offered on three plans:
- Free. A limited monthly volume of diagnoses at no cost. No credit card required.
- Team. A higher monthly volume billed monthly via Stripe at the price published on our Pricing page in your local currency. Team subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- Scale. Custom volume and features negotiated directly. Billed under a separate order form.
All fees are exclusive of taxes. Where applicable law requires us to collect tax, we will add it at checkout. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in a separate order form.
To cancel a Team subscription, visit your account settings before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will never cut you off mid-incident without notice.
Customer data and intellectual property
You retain all ownership of the telemetry, logs, traces, deployments, and other data you provide to Ketl. You also own the diagnostic outputs the engine produces for your incidents.
By using the service, you grant Ketl, Inc. a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, store, and process your data solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim any intellectual property rights in your data or your outputs.
Ketl and the Ketl diagnostic engine, its interface, models, and the underlying software remain the intellectual property of Ketl, Inc..
Confidentiality
Each party may receive confidential information from the other in connection with the service. Each party agrees to use that information only as necessary to perform its obligations and to protect it with at least the care it uses for its own confidential information.
Your telemetry is treated as your confidential information. We will not share it with other customers, use it to train shared models, or disclose it to third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as-is and as-available. Ketl makes no warranty, express or implied, that the diagnostic engine will correctly identify the root cause of any incident, that proposed fixes are safe or complete, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
You are solely responsible for verifying any diagnosis before taking action. Ketl reads your telemetry and reasons about it; the resulting output is a starting point for investigation, not a certified conclusion.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ketl, Inc. and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or systems availability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
Term and termination
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the service. Either party may terminate at any time: you by deleting your account, we by providing 30 days of written notice unless you have materially breached these Terms, in which case we may terminate immediately.
On termination, your access to the service ends. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow export, then delete it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we will email the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect and note the change at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
